Stem Cell Treatments

An autologous stem cell treatment is one that uses the patient’s own stem cells. For this technique, stem cells are collected from the patient’s body, cultured and proliferated, and then reinfused into the patient. Because the patient’s own cells are used, this kind of treatment has the advantage of being far less likely to trigger an immune rejection response.

Course of an autologous stem cell treatment

 1. Collection of stem cells

Stem cells are collected from the patient’s bone marrow, adipose tissue, or blood. This clinic offers a procedure in which stem cells are obtained from adipose tissue under local anesthesia.
We prefer this method because cells cultured from this type of collection site have a comparatively strong anti-inflammatory effect and will be most effective in treating chronic pain and reversing aging. Collection of adipose tissue is also easiest on the patient as well as being the least complex for maintaining sterile conditions.

 2. Processing and culturing of stem cells

The collected cells are cultured and proliferated. This makes them more effective in rejuvenating damaged tissue and organs.

3. Reinfusion

Cultured stem cells are infused into the patient’s target site. Cells may be administered internally via intravenous drip, injected directly into an articular (joint) cavity, or injected into subcutaneous tissues.

The advantages of autologous stem cell treatments

Minimal immune response

Use of the patient’s own cells lowers the risk of a rejection response by the immune system.

Few ethical issues

Because the cells used are not of embryonic origin, there are few ethical concerns.

Safety

Use of the patient’s own cells means the risk of pathogenic infection is lower than with other treatment types.

Stem cell supernatant treatment

Allogeneic stem cell supernatant treatment utilizes the supernatant liquid (culture solution) of stem cells provided by a donor. This supernatant liquid contains a variety of substances secreted by stem cells, including cell growth factors, cytokines, and exosomes. It is useful in repairing tissues and inhibiting inflammation.

Researchers have been studying the efficacy of allogeneic stem cell supernatant treatments for the following applications:

  1. Inflammatory diseases
  2. Regeneration of skin
  3. Nerve disorders
  4. Beauty treatments and prevention of aging

Allogeneic stem cell supernatant treatments have a lower risk of immune rejection than conventional stem cell treatments and have attracted attention for their simplicity and rapid efficacy, but many treatments are still undergoing clinical trials, and it will be necessary to verify their long-term safety and efficacy.

Orthomolecular Medicine

The field of orthomolecular medicine analyzes nutrients at the molecular level and proposes nutritional intake that is optimized for each individual’s body composition and health. Orthomolecular medicine has caught the eye of those interested in individualized treatments and preventative medicine, and practitioners are developing more precise approaches that utilize genomic information and data about the intestinal microbiome.

Features and basic methodology

1.An individualized approach
Orthomolecular practitioners adjust the kind and quantity of nutrients to suit each patient based on genomic information and blood testing.
2.A nutritional balance at the cellular level
To support the patient’s health, it is important to know how nutrients like vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids are utilized within the cell.
3.Prevention and treatment of illness
Orthomolecular medicine can be used to both treat and prevent illness. For example, a practitioner may treat a person suffering from chronic pain or depression by analyzing their blood and supplementing deficient nutrients such as iron, magnesium, or vitamin D.
  • Orthomolecular medicine can also be applied in the management of lifestyle diseases such as type II diabetes, high blood pressure, and arteriosclerosis or in the alleviation of autoimmune disorders.
4.Optimization of mitochondria and energy metabolism
  •  Practitioners recommend a balance of nutrients such as coenzyme Q10, B vitamins, and magnesium to optimize the function of mitochondria, known as the powerhouse of the cell.

Applications for orthomolecular medicine

  • Anti-aging
  • Mental health (depression, anxiety, developmental disorders)
  • Reinforcing the immune system (allergies, autoimmune disorders)
  • Enhancing performance in sports
  • Infertility and hormone balance

High-dose vitamin C treatment

For this treatment, a high dose of vitamin C is administered with the purpose of deploying its antioxidant properties and enhancing immune function. This treatment is known for its effect on beauty and health and as a supplementary treatment for certain illnesses. High-dose vitamin C is administered directly via intravenous drip or injection rather than taken by mouth.

Features and effects of high-dose vitamin C

1.Antioxidant effects
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that functions to eliminate reactive oxygen (free radicals) in the body. Reactive oxygen contributes to aging and a number of illnesses. Vitamin C intake can protect cells and slow the progress of aging.
2.Reinforcement of the immune system
Vitamin C supports the function of immune cells and enhances the body’s resistance to infectious diseases and other illnesses. It is especially effective in preventing colds and the flu and promoting recovery during treatment.
3.Potential anticancer effects
It is possible that high-dose vitamin C can be directly toxic to certain cancer cells. Vitamin C creates hydrogen peroxide in the body, and it is believed that this can damage cancer cells. It is particularly the focus of research into its potential to reduce side effects and increase treatment efficacy when used in conjunction with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
4.Promotion of collagen production
Vitamin C is a required component in the production of collagen and is therefore vital to maintaining the elasticity and resilience of skin. For that reason, high-dose vitamin C can be used for cosmetic purposes and can be expected to rejuvenate the skin and ameliorate blemishes, wrinkles, and sagging.
5.Fatigue recovery
High-dose vitamin C contributes to the metabolism of energy and has been reported to alleviate fatigue and promote physical recovery.

Beauty Treatments

Rejuran

What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is a beauty treatment that aims to rejuvenate the skin and reduce signs of aging. Its active ingredient is polynucleotides (PN), a natural substance derived from salmon DNA. These polynucleotides have the effect of stimulating turnover in skin cells to improve the health and resilience of the skin.

Effects of Rejuran

  • Promoting skin cell turnover: It aids in the recovery of damaged skin by accelerating cellular turnover.
  • Enhancing skin resilience: It stimulates the production of collagen to enhance the resilience and firmness of skin.
  • Moisturization: It improves skin moisture to reduce fine wrinkles caused by dryness.
  • Inhibiting inflammation: Its anti-inflammatory effect inhibits inflammation in the skin to reduce overall issues.

Safety of Rejuran

The polynucleotides used in Rejuran are derived from salmon DNA but considered highly compatible with the human body and unlikely to trigger an allergic reaction. Accordingly, this treatment is comparatively safe and is expected to have only mild side effects. However, patients may experience brief swelling, redness, and slight pain at the injection site.
